Özel Adalya Anadolu Lisesi is a secondary school with 34 experienced teachers and 371 students between 14-18 years old.
The main subjects are maths,physics,chemistry,biology,history, geography,literature and foreign languages. It is fully equipped with science laboratories,art rooms,music room,a gym and a 10-hectares-garden. Since the school is situated in the suburbs, most of its students come from different districts and the disadvantaged areas many of whose inhabitants work in their own businesses, have their own traditions and life styles which they preserve tight in any conditions.
Our motivation is to;
-to make the students aware of the significance of the bees and explain them what would happen if the population of bee and other insects which have pollination ability in nature became extinct in particular areas and thus creates an important part of biodiversity of our planet
-let our pupils get all the opportunities that education can offer,to achieve their best,to succeed and to become faithful European citizens
-develop an open-minded attitude towards other cultures
-be aware of the richness of the intercultural dialogue and not of the same but of the differences seen as belonging to a common culture, values, a history and to a common path
The principal, Kenan ÇELİK , is so curious about new things and always ready to take risks and gain experience. He is always active,supportive and cares about his students who are on his priority.
The contact person, Tuncay SAVTAK is an experienced English teacher. He organized or joined more than 30 Erasmus+ projects since 2004. Now, he trains a team of 4 teachers and 9 students in the school on EU projects. He worked as an expert in the European Language Portfolio Team at the Ministry of National Education of Turkey during 2002-06, as "Pedagogical Advisor for Turkey" for European Schoolnet during 2006-09. He is also an expert in "Education and Training Portal of European Commission" for 2014-20.
-Our physical education teacher, Kazım Erdem CAN with 7 years of experience on Erasmus projects is in the team to share the responsibility of organizing the activities.He will take over the role in case the contact person leaves the school.
Some of the skills and expertise of our teachers in team are teaching social and educational issues; organizing and managing the local, national and international programs.
Our key persons will offer and share their pedagogical skills,language,ICT,social,cultural and other competences to organize and run workshops and project activities so that the projects could be enriched by their participation. We will involve the participants who have already taken part in either EU projects or training courses so that they could share their experience with other participants.
Our school will also contribute to this project sharing their knowledge and experience with dissemination and promotion of the project and Erasmus+ program so that the impact would be as wide as possible.
